Comet 2006 P1 (McNaught)
In early 2007, comet McNaught has become a naked-eye object almost twice as bright as 1997's famous Hale-Bopp. While most of central Europe was clouded out, finally a glimpse of this comet was possible on January 9 and 10, 2007.
